Jon has been practicing massage and bodywork professionally since 2010. He is trained in advanced restructuring techniques that predictably improve posture, increase range of motion and reduce tension and pain throughout the body. He considers himself a life-long student of the human body and how it responds to the patterns of life that can affect how the body moves and where it experiences pain. Depending on the person and the session, Jon will draw from his experience in multiple disciplines, including everything from Swedish massage and reflexology to trigger point therapy and sports massage. Jon is also trained in prenatal care, cupping therapy, active and passive stretching techniques and kinesiology taping. He periodically travels with a university swim team as a sports massage therapist.
Originally from Michigan, Jon moved to Phoenix in 2008. He enjoys spending time outdoors exploring the natural beauty of Arizona through hiking, running, rowing, backpacking and cycling.
