Shannel truly believes that everyone is already beautiful. In her opinion, haircuts, hair color, nails and make up are just a fun girly thing to do. She really loves that she gets to share this experience with her clients!

She has been writing for Latest Hairstyles since 2012, has appeared numerous times on Arizona Midday sharing beauty tips, and has been quoted on beauty websites and magazines. She loves to share these trends, tips, advice for certain face shapes, hair types etc. with her clients. But even if she knows the rules for suitability, the trends and such, what she ultimately cares about is what makes her clients feel beautiful.

Shannel also travels teaching haircutting to hairstylists every weekend. She has a passion for empowering hairstylists through sharing the fundamentals of haircutting. By helping hairstylists have a firm understanding of the basics, her goal is to give her students the confidence to create. No more memorizing haircuts, no more cookie-cutter haircuts or having to “wing” them. Instead, to be able to design and create a haircut tailored to their clients face shape, hair type, and style.

Charity work: Shannel has been regularly cutting and coloring hair at the Phoenix Dream Center since 2014. By sharing her passion, she gets the privilege to serve and build relationships with young women out of sex trafficking.
